One Wild Vegas Night

by S.J. Thomas

ONE WILD VEGAS NIGHT is a classic ill-fated romance where what's expected has to be replaced with what's wanted in order for true love to be found.

Solomon is looking for one last crazy night of freedom before he is forced to marry a woman he doesn't love. Hannah is looking to rediscover freedom after escaping a controlling husband. When the two meet, the attraction is instantaneous. Even though they both want only a single night of escape, they find themselves drawn into more. However, the two of them have to be honest with each other before they can figure out if their freedom can be found with each other.

This story was a quick, fun read. In a short time, the author did a good job of giving the characters personalities and honest emotions for dealing with their believable struggles. Even though I often find stories with this theme to be predictable, the author gave enough life to the characters to draw me in and make me want to quickly reach the conclusion of the story to see how the happy ending would play out.

There were two underlying plot points, domestic violence and diversity, which made the story and the characters' experiences that much more enjoyable to read about.
