HONEST CRAVINGS puts a steamy twist on the concept of relationship equality.
Aaron enjoys being Alison's Dom, but can't help but wonder what it is that brings her so much pleasure as a sub. Alison can't even begin to imagine being anything but a sub to Aaron—until he uses her love of reading to put ideas in her head. When Aaron give Alison a book where the plot is about a Domme/ sub relationship, she is fairly certain Aaron is suggesting that he would like to try reversing their roles.
This story is actually very sweet. Aaron is slightly insecure about his desire to be a sub, if only temporarily, so he makes the suggestion through a book. He knows Alison loves to read and gets sexual ideas from the books he buys for her. Alison is scared to let go of her role as sub because she enjoys Aaron's control and she doesn't want to disappoint her Dom in any way. The two explore these feelings together and agree that a little role reversal and shared perspective will bring them closer as a couple.
Their experiment is a success as both Aaron and Alison discover new things about themselves and each other. Although brief, this was an enjoyable snippet of a happy, open, equal relationship.
