Picking Up

Clockwork Angel has picked up... more action, some questions being answered, I'm finally pulled in.

Clockwork Angel- Chapters 11-16
   Summary:
Will tries to trigger the Phosphor but it malfunctions and creates havoc.  Magnus tries to get Tessa out; she resists.  Tessa and Will start fighting the vampires; she tells Will she can't leave because Nate is there.  The Nephilim come in and join the fight.  De Quincey declares Camille a traitor and vows to kill her.  Will and de Quincey fight, Will takes drastic measures to get free, Tessa helps.  De Quincey gets away and the Nephilim cleans up.  Charlotte and Henry head back to the Institute with Tessa and Nate.  Will and Gabriel have another arguement outside de Quincey's house; Jem breaks it up.  Jem chides Will for ingesting vampire blood.  Will and Jem discuss Tessa.  When they get back to the Institute Nate is able to have a brief conversation with Tessa and then Brother Enoch comes.  Brother Enoch tells Tessa that her brother is completely human, with no special gifts like she has.  Tessa worries about what she is and Jem tries to soothe her.  Tessa runs into Sophie who has been fighting with Will about getting treated after his fight; Tessa says she will help.  Will explains to her why he has to be treated and what will happen.  Will and Tessa talk and grow closer.  Sophie warns Tessa against developing feelings for Will.  Jessamine helps to watch Nate as he recovers; she tells Tessa she has a plan.  Tessa overhears Charlotte, Will and Jem discussing what to do with Nate; she is not happy.  Tessa confronts them and tells them all to leave her and Nate alone.  Jem talks to Tessa and tries to help her understand Charlotte and Will and the Institute.  Jem and Tessa go for a walk and Jem gives Tessa more information about the Nephilim and how Will ended up at the Institute.  Tessa and Jem run into some trouble with automatons who want to kidnapp Tessa.  While running away Jem appears tired and ill; which is unusual for Nephilim.  Jem collapses but Charlotte and Henry come to help.  Thomas and Will help Jem while Tessa tells Charlotte and Henry what happened.  They think they figure out what de Quincey is trying to do and agree he must be stopped.  Jem requests to talk to Tessa; he wants to tell her what really happened to him.  Jem tells Tessa about an attack he suffered by a demon and the long lasting effects it has had on him.  Sophie tells Tessa that Nate has gone missing; Thomas finds him.  Nate and Tessa talk and he asks lots of questions about the Shadowhunter as de Quincey has told him they are not to be trusted.  Nate says he wants to leave but Tessa talks him out of it.  Everyone gathers to talk to Nate about everything that has happened.  He tells them about discovering secrets about their parents and planning his trip to England to get Mortmain to introduce him to Downworld.  Nate tells them how de Quincey expressed an interest in Tessa and wanted Nate to send for her.  Nate tells them what he knows about de Quincey and the automatons.
