Clockwork Angel- Chapter 17- 20 (the end)
   Summary:
Henry and Charlotte notify the Enclave that they have information about de Quincey; they make plans to go after him.  Jessamine fawns over Nate some more and calls Tessa on her feelings for Will.  Tessa begins making plans for when de Quincey is dead and she is safe.  Tessa asks Will about his family; he refuses to answer.  After Charlotte and Henry leave for de Quincey's, Mortmain comes to visit at the Institute.  Tessa gets upset with Mortmain telling him he should have looked for Nate when he went to work for de Quincey.  Mortmain says he wants to make amends for his mistakes; he tells Jem and Will where to find the Dark Sisters.  Will makes plans for he and Jem to go after the Dark Sisters since the rest of the Enclave is busy with de Quincey.  After Jem and Will leave automatons show up at the Institute; they have surprising abilities.  Jem and Will find the location of the Dark Sisters.  They tell Mrs. Dark they know all about their spells and de Quincey's automatons; she laughs at them and calls them stupid.  Meanwhile, Tessa, Thomas, and Jessamine are trying to fight the automatons.  The Magister shows up and says that he only wants Tessa and Nate, everyone else can go.  They discover the Magister had someone on the inside helping him.  Mrs. Dark tells Jem and Will they were wrong about the Magister.  They trick her into telling them who the Magister is; then she shares some surprising information about Nate.  Jem realizes the automatons have the ability to get into the Institute; they rush back.  Tessa and Sophie try to make their way to safety while the others fight.  Tessa figures out Nate has been lying to her and that he knew Mortmain was more than anyone thought; they fight.  Nate shares he has had a hand in other crimes.  Jessamine, Tessa, and Sophie end up locked in the Sanctuary; Jessamine blames Tessa for everything bad that has happened.  Sophie yells at Jessamine for not being a better Shadowhunter.  The automatons get into the Sanctuary.  Mortmain sends Nate to steal something from the weapons room.  Will returns to the Institute; Thomas asks him to take care of Sophie.  Mortmain tries to get Tessa to change and says some cryptic things about her powers.  Tessa threatens to kill herself if Mortmain tries to force her to change.  The automatons take the Pyxis, a Shadowhunter demon tool.  Jem has a run-in with Nate and tells him the Clave will hunt him down.  Henry and Charlotte show up to help Jem with the automatons; Nate disappears.  Mortmain hints that Tessa may be a warlock.  He shares information with her about her parents and Tessa's birth.  Tessa stabs herself; Will walks in to see her lying on the floor bleeding.  Mortmain disappears and Will goes to care for Tessa.  Tessa comes to and tells Will how she protected herself.  There is a funeral for those who died while fighting; Tessa is not allowed to attend because she is not a Shadowhunter.  Everyone is subjected to questioning by the Clave as to what happened.  Charlotte surprises Tessa with a request and tells Tessa she is at risk of losing the Institute.  Tessa goes to share her excitement with Will and shares some feelings with him; he is hurtful and pushes her away.  He shares some upsetting information about warlocks with her.  Tessa talks to Jem about not wanting to be different; Jem tries to convince her it is not all bad.  Jem also tells Tessa they can try to find answers about her parents and her past.  Jem encourages Tessa to consider the people at the Institute her family; she says Will doesn't agree with Jem's offer.  In the epilogue Will goes to Magnus and says he needs his help.

River Marked- Chapters 1-4
   Summary:
Mercy goes to check on Stefan and finds his house in disarray.  Rachel tells Mercy it is not safe in the house because Stefan isn't helping.  Stefan comes to Mercy's aid and she tells him he needs to get it together.  Mercy makes Stefan clean up and come to Bad Movie night with her, Warren, and Kyle.  Darryl has been charged with keeping tabs on Mercy while Adam is out of town and Mercy isn't making it easy on him.  Mercy's mother calls to discuss new plans for Mercy and Adam's wedding; she is driving Mercy crazy.  Stefan shares some vampire information during movie night; everyone has a good time.  Mercy and Jesse pick up Adam from the airport; Mercy shares with Adam that Stefan is in trouble.  Mercy asks Adam about eloping so they don't have to deal with her mother's wedding planning.  Two days later Mercy is surprised by what she finds at the church.  Bran tells Mercy how the whole surprise came together.  Adam and Mercy sneak away from the reception for the honeymoon Adam has planned.  They end up at a campground in the Columbia Gorge; they are the only ones there.  They spend their time swimming, playing, talking, and running.  Mercy detects there is something bothering Adam but she can't tell what it is.  While Mercy is waiting for Adam to get back from a run she sees a ghost; she thinks she recognizes him.  Mercy tells Adam about the ghost; she also tells him about her vision quest when she was 14.  Mercy and Adam go hiking and end up helping a boy who has fallen and gotten hurt.  Mercy realizes Adam is happy, relaxed and in his element; she likes that she is part of that.
