Mercy Blade- Chapters 13-24 (the end)
   Summary:
Jane and Bruiser spend time together; Jane fighting feelings for him.  Bruiser shares more of his past while Jane tries to avert questions about herself.  Tyler moves into head of security while Bruiser is dealing with his legal issues.  A mystery package is delivered to Jane's house and then Jane is attacked.  Jane discovers Leo drank from Katie; it is having negative effects on him.  They package contains pictures of Leo and Bruiser, killing someone, from many years earlier and of Rick, recently, with another woman.  Jane figures Rick is undercover.  Jane decides to break into the morgue to investigate Safia's body.  Jane does some research into weres and learns some information about Maggie and her son; her son was sent away after Maggie left Leo.  Jane wonders why the were-cats smell healthy and the werewolves smell sick.  Jane gets a worrisome call from one of Rick's co-workers; she tries to figure out where Rick is.  Leo orders Jane to find Safia's killer and bring them to him.  Jane goes to vamp HQ to check more security footage; she discovers an uninvited guest.  Jane spots Rick and Safia on the video footage from the night of the party.  Jane receives another mysterious envelope with more clues.  Gee explains there is a stronger connection between vampires and Mercy Blades than Jane thought.  Jane suspects Tyler of some wrong-doing and goes to check out his room and belongings; she shares her findings with the police.  Jane runs into Katie, who appears to be healthy and normal again.  Jane thinks Gee has put a spell of some kind on her and asks Evangelina to take it off; Evangelina tries to trick Jane.  Jane talks to Molly about her problems with Evangelina; Molly says she'll help.  Molly thinks Jane has more magic than she realizes and suggests she try to find a cave from her early memories.  Jane accidentally hurts Gee while trying to break one of his spells.  With Bruiser's help Jane figures out what Gee is; she goes to Sabina to get more information.  Sabina gives Jane some good history into the weres, how they were created and attempts to save them.  Jane gets an idea where Rick might be; when she gets there he is not, but a couple of weres are.  She questions them and heads out to Leo's; on the way she is attacked.  Jane is forced to shift and goes to Leo's as Beast.  She finds Leo has been hurt and the house has been spelled.  When Jane shifts back she calls Bruiser and other reinforcements.  Everyone works to save Leo and the blood-servants at the house; Gee helps.  Jane makes some more discoveries about vamp HQ and what happened the night of the party.  She pieces together what happened and realizes there are two different cases going on.  She decides it is time to hunt the weres and to find and save Rick.  She calls in Derek Lee and his men.  When she finds the weres she makes a discovery that puts all the pieces into place for her.  She finds Rick, but he is not is good shape; she asks Gee to help heal him.  After the rescue Rick refuses to see Jane and she decides it is time for some changes.
