So, lots of snow... so much snow the office closed early- yeah. So much snow that I had to clean the driveway and couldn't read- boo. I got a little bit in, though!
This Side of the Grave- Chapters 15-18
Summary:
Cat and Bones head to Saint Louis Cemetery Number One to meet Marie. Marie wants to meet with Cat alone but Bones refuses. They share the recent ghoul activity with Marie, and she tells them she won't side with them against Apollyon. Marie challenges Cat regarding some of her new vampire powers. Marie torments Bones until Cat accepts her challenge; Marie makes a discovery while Cat gets a taste of Marie's true power. Cat awakens chained to a bed and discovers she has lost 2 days of memory; she is mortified to learn what happened in those two days. She learns she is at one of Mencheres' houses and is eager to find out what else has happened the past two days. Cat discovers she has some new connection to ghosts; she is not happy about it.
