Car Time

Lots of time in the car today- with sleeping children half of that time!

Clockwork Angel- Chapters 8-10
   Summary:
Charlotte, Tessa, Will, and Jem go to meet with Lady Belcourt.  Lady Belcourt, Camille, shares some of her thoughts on the Pandemonium Club and de Quincey.  Camille also tells Tessa she has seen Nate, which energizes Tessa in her search for him.  Camille tells them about an upcoming part at de Quincey's and helps devise a plan for them to find out if he is breaking the law.  Upon questioning, Camille shares some of her motivations for sharing information with them.  Charlotte tells Tessa some of what Mortmain told her about Tessa and Nate and their family; Tessa does not believe it.  Charlotte tries to help Tessa come to terms with everything happening to her.  Will and Jem try to help Tessa with her most recent Change; Tessa is struggling with trying to be a vampire.  The Enclave come to the Institute for a meeting to discuss de Quincey and possibly going to his house.  Gabriel Lightwood is at the meeting and he and Will argue.  Will, Jem, and Tessa are kicked out of the meeting because they are too young, but they spy on them.  The Enclave argue amongst themselves regarding Charlotte's informant, Tessa's involvement, and possible vampire retribution.  The Enclave questions Charlotte's ability to run the Institute; she stands up for herself.  The Enclave takes a vote.  Will and Tessa head to de Quincey's party; Tessa is able to fool de Quincey.  They get some help from Magnus Bane, a friend of Camille's.  They discover some clues about the automatons and then try to catch de Quincey in the act of breaking the law.  De Quincey brings in a human and begins to torment him; Will takes action; Magnus tries to get Tessa away but she won't go when she sees the human de Quincey was planning to kill.
