Naked Heat- Chapters 8-9
   Summary:
Nikki shares with Rook how his magazine article has really effected her; he seems to understand.  Raley and Ochoa are hard at work finding the guy who attacked her and Rook.  Another potential suspect surfaces with new evidence, rock star Soleil Gray.  They interview her and her alibis; there is inconsistent information.  While talking to a former band mate of Gray they get the name of another person who may be involved.  While looking for a suspect they discover another dead body.  While investigating this murder they find out Soleil was involved in a shooting that went unreported because she got the man she shot, Derek Snow, free medical care and paid some people off.  Lauren reports on the new dead body and it appears he was killed by the same person Towne was.  They also learn there may be a connection to the very first dead body they were investigating.
