Late and Lite

A late post with only a small amount of reading... sometimes sleep takes priority!

Naked Heat- Chapters 4-7
   Summary:
Nikki and Rook question Toby and he admits to an incident with Towne.  They track down Holly Flanders and discover what her relationship is to Towne.  Raley and Ochoa possibly find some missing evidence.  There are some potential leads into the body snatching aspect of the case.  Rook and Nikki meet with one of Rook's sources and get another suspect in the Towne murder case.  They interview Elizabeth Essex who confirms there was some bad blood and a past incident between her and Towne.  Nikki gets information on the guys who stole the body; she questions them and gets more information.  They confront Richmond Vergennes about his involvement with Towne; it appears he didn't kill her.  Nikki gets adamant with Rook about not writing about her anymore.  Nikki and Rook go to see Lauren who has autopsy results; they gets some interesting information.  Rook and Nikki make plans to meet up later and he goes home.  Ochoa and Raley get some more potential evidence.  When Nikki goes to Rook's apartment someone grabs her and ties her up; they are looking for something, but Nikki doesn't know what.  She gets free from her restraints and fights with her captor; he runs away.  She finds Rook has also been tied up; frees him.  They give their statements to the police and head back to Nikki's apartment where things get heated.
