More IAD

So, Dreams of a Dark Warrior is part of Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark series.  I had heard/ read somewhere that this book was to be the last in the series and I wasn't happy.  However, I just read that she has signed on to write more books in this series and the next book is going to be about Lothaire- I can't wait!!!

Dreams of a Dark Warrior- Chapters 30-49
   Summary:
Declan interviews Slaine but it doesn't go well; he notices Dixon, Webb, and a guard are all acting somewhat strangely.  Declan discovers that Regin was tortured while he was away from the facility; and Webb has plans to transfer her out of the facility.  Webb informs Declan that he knows some of his history and has been keeping it from him.  Declan is about to kill Webb when they are informed something is approaching the facility.  La Dorada shows up looking for her ring that Lothaire has; she frees some prisoners while others escape.  Dorada goes after Lothaire, but he is able to defend himself.  Regin and Natalya get out of their cell and look for Thad.  Thad saves Lothaire while Declan tries to get to Regin; Lothaire helps Regin and Natalya.  Declan, Regin, Brandr, Natalya and Thad escape to an airstrip where a small plan awaits.  Winged demons bring the plane down shortly after take off; Declan tells Brandr to get Regin off the island within 6 days because after that it will be bombed by the Order.  Lothaire confronts Declan about his ring and Declan tells him it was removed from the island.  Declan makes a deal with Lothaire to help save Regin.  Declan leads them all to a bunker; he tells them there is a boat he can lead them to.  Declan tells Regin he did not order her torture, he didn't even know about it until after it happened; she doesn't believe him.  Brandr tells Regin they need to remove the wires and staples that were put into her during her torture.  He does it, with Declan's help.  Thad asks Lothaire for help understanding what it means to be a vampire.  Declan and Regin face off; she threatens to kill him but can't follow through with it.  Regin tells Declan to stay away from her; but she softens some when he shares some personal information with her.  Brandr convinces Regin not to take off by herself; he also gets more information about Declan.  Lothaire experiences Declan's torture after drinking his blood.  While making their way to the boat, Brandr, Lothaire and Thad help Declan come up with a plan to win Regin back.  Declan confronts Regin and they end up fighting; but that turns to passion.  Regin realizes she was tricked, but she can't deny her feelings for Declan.  Declan shares the details of his attack with Regin.  Declan has more dreams of past lives.  He tries to convince Regin the curse won't effect him, this time will be different.  Declan makes plans for the two of them to be together when they get off the island; Regin is hesitant.  They continue their trek to the boat; Regin senses another Valkyrie.  Declan asks Brandr for help, but he fully believes in the curse as well.  He suggests perhaps Declan think about trying to become immortal; but they don't know how to do it.
