Another Release

Now that I have finished Dreams of a Dark Warrior, I am ready for This Side of the Grave to be released tomorrow.  Maybe tonight I will listen to some Clockwork Angel  and clean out some more books.   

Dreams of a Dark Warrior- Chapters 50-57 (the end)
   Summary:
Regin sees Declan offering to let Lothaire feed from him and she gets really upset.  They are nearly attacked by a Cerunno; Lothaire and Declan chase it so it can't give other enemies their location.  Declan quickly realizes Lothaire has double-crossed him and led him directly to a trap set by prisoners of the facility.  Lothaire does not get what he hoped for out of the deal, but he tells them he can also bring them Regin.  While Declan is held prisoner and beaten, Lothaire leaves and returns with Regin.  This time Lothaire has double crossed the enemy camp and he has also brought Brandr, Natalya and Thad with him.  They rescue Declan and he kisses Regin.  Regin tries to run but Declan pursues and tries to convince her they can be together; he also tells her that while he has Aidan's memories, he is not Aidan.  Declan and Regin end up having sex; after Regin feels horrible for starting the countdown on Declan's life.  Regin tells Declan she feels more for him than she ever did Aidan and that his dying is going to be torture for her; she asks him to not come back again in another life.  Regin and Declan make their way to the shore, but Declan's boat is gone.  Slaine and Carrow, a witch friend of Regin's, catch up to the group and Slaine stabs Declan.  Carrow doesn't understand why Regin is upset since Declan was their captor and torturer.  Regin gets Lothaire to give Declan his blood; he warns her that he and Declan will forever be linked.  Declan worries that if he turns into a vampire he will lose Regin anyway because of her hatred towards vampires; she insists he drink the blood.  Nix shows up and has a cryptic conversation with Lothaire.  Slaine helps everyone get off the island.  At home Regin and Brandr wait for Declan to wake up.  Val Hall, Regin's home, is surrounded by people who hate Declan and want him killed; Regin stands up to them.  Declan awakens, but not as expected; Brandr has some theories.  Nix stands up for Declan and he starts working to make things right for the people he hurt.  He warns Webb that Lothaire is coming for his ring; Webb says he will tell the Order Declan died on the island.  And they all live happily ever after... (sort of).

Clockwork Angel- Chapters 1-2
   Summary:
London, April 1878: William Herondale, Will, is killing demons and looking for his hunting partner James Carstairs, Jem.  Jem is in an alley where he has found the body of a dead girl.  They don't think the demon killed her; Jem finds a knife by her body.  The decide they need to investigate.  The next month Tessa Gray comes to England on a ship from America to see her brother Nate.  When she arrives she is met by Mrs. Black and Mrs. Dark, the Dark Sisters.  They tell Tessa Nate sent them to pick her up.  Six weeks later Tessa is at the Dark Sisters's house, being held captive.  She has not seen her brother; the Sisters say they have him.  The sisters have taught Tessa how to Change into other people after touching something that belonged to that person.  When Tessa Changes she gets the memories of the person she has become; the Sisters ask her questions when she is in different forms.  The Sisters say they are going to call the Magister and tell them Tessa is ready.  She discovers the Sisters are selling her to the Magister for marriage.  Miranda, a girl who works for the Sisters, tells Tessa the Magister is a great man and it will be an honor to be married to him.  Tessa tries to escape but is unsuccessful and is punished for her attempt.  Will breaks into the Sisters' house to rescue Tessa.  A fight ensues with the sisters and Tessa hears them talking about angels, Nephilim, Shadowhunters, and the Clave.  She sees the Sisters transform while Will and others fight them; she passes out.
