   Summary (may contain spoilers):
Rhine and Gabriel discover that Vaughn is doing secret experimentation in the basement of the house.  Gabriel and Rhine continue to grow closer; he tells her about hurricane season and shares with her that he and most of the domestics were bought from orphanages; she tells him more about her life in NY with Rowan.  Linden throws a party to honor their 2 months of marriage and disappears with Cecily from the party.  Jenna and Rhine bond a little over their unhappiness; but Jenna has no motivation to escape because she figures she can die in style if she stays.  Rhine denies Linden's request to consumate their marriage, but he does sleep in her bed.  The wives are allowed more freedom on the grounds and can get outside more often.  Gabriel starts to display some jealousy when he sees Linden in Rhine's bed.  Cecily becomes pregnant and Linden gives most of his attention to her.  Rhine learns Jenna has slept with Linden and is surprised; she also discovers Jenna made money through prostitution before coming to the house.  The first hurricane alarm of the season sounds and Linden, Vaughn, the wives and the domestics go into the storm shelter in the basement.  Rhine sees Linden drawing pictures of houses and encourages him to continue practicing his architecture work that he gave up when Rose got sick.  Jenna and Rhine express their fear of Vaughn.
