The 46th Floor

by J.D.

The Romance Review

THE 46TH FLOOR is a quick, hot read about high rise neighbors who like to watch!

I enjoyed this quick read about Jerry, a lonely guy living in a high rise apartment in Chicago. Jerry notices some of his neighbors have telescopes, and when he sees his neighbor Estelle dressing in front of her window, he decides to invest in one of his own. The telescope purchase results in Jerry having some new adventures and making some new friends.

As it turns out, there are a group of people amongst the high rises who enjoy putting on shows for one another- and Jerry is more than willing to be a part of this group. Although it was short, this story was well-written and the character of Jerry was developed quickly. The sexual encounter was brief, but steamy, and it offered some additional information about the nature of the characters. I would love to see this short story as part of a compilation of stories about the different people in these high rises and the adventures they have with one another.
