These books are fantastic! A perfect combination of humor, suspense, and supernatural. These books are fast-paced, entertaining, and often edge-of-seat. Charley's relationship with Reyes is so wonderful and disturbing. Is he good? Is he bad? Do they really stand a chance of ever being together? And now will he ever forgive her? Charley and Reyes are at odds throughout this entire book because they disagree on the state of his future. In the end, Charley wins- sort of!
Aside from Charley and Reyes, the supporting cast in this book is sooo much fun to read about and see Charley interact with. Her uncle pisses her off, her father and sister finally open up some, and her friends Cookie, Garrett, and Neil support and frustrate her.
Great book, as was the first, and the end is a doozy leaving you chomping at the bit for more.
