Vacation and Frustration

So, back from vacation with only 1 completed book.  And I'm totally okay with that.  I had such a good time and spent so much time with my family that I barely fit in reading time.  But, Vampire Mine was another great Kerrelyn Sparks book.

The frustration is with this blog- which I would like to call all sorts of names right now.  I was just in the "Ratings" page updating all my missing reviews and when I clicked "Save Now," not only did my new reviews not get saved, it erased practically all of my past reviews.  No idea what happened, but I am completely frustrated... and pissed!  I put a lot of work into this blog, particularly the "Ratings" page, and now it is just GONE.  I can't figure out any way to retrieve it.  Most of my reviews are on goodreads, so I guess I can work to copy the reviews over, but that is just FRUSTRATING!!! 

Oh well.  I'm almost done with The Darkest Secret, and so far it is totally rewarding.  I like the characters of main focus, Amun and Haidee; I also like the side characters being focused on, William, Strider, and Paris.  All three of these men are egotistical and self-centered, but they are depressed that they don't have the women they desire.  Amun and Haidee are in hell working to save each other and get to know each other.

The Weird Sisters is fun and touching.  These three sisters who irritate, annoy, hate and love each other throughout their whole lives.  They each went in separate directions, physically and emotionally, but are now coming back together to support their ill mother.  The three of them are each going through their own personal turmoils, but they are too stubborn to open up to each other and get support.  Hopefully that time is coming...
