Finally

So I was surprised that it took a good 9 chapters to really pull me into Shadowfever.  I know some would say 9 chapters isn't bad in a 50+ chapter book, but I was SO anticipating this book that I thought I would get it and run.  I didn't.  BUT... once the book grabbed me, it grabbed me!  The following summary is very brief because so much happens, I don't want to give away too much detail, and I need to go finish the book.

Shadowfever- Chapters 6-24
   Summary:
Dani is worried that Mac and Barrons are still missing.  There is an attack at the abbey; lots of sidhe-seers are killed.  Dani confronts Ro on all the secrets at the abbey regarding the Sinsar Dubh.  Mac and Darroc continue their journey in the White Mansion.  They discuss Alina.  Darroc tells Mac he wants to absorb the information from the Sinsar Dubh.  They make their way back to Dublin where they are witnessed making out by a couple of people.  Mac pushes Dani away so she doesn't get hurt.  Mac and Darroc and other Unseelie face off against V'lane and other Seelie.  The Seelie can't believe Mac has sided with the Unseelie.  Mac moves in with Darroc.  Mac has a run in with the Sinsar Dubh.  Darroc and Mac come across a Royal Hunter, K'Vruck.  Mac is grabbed by someone and carried away to the bookstore; it is Barrons.  Mac does not believe it is him.  He confronts her about killing him and about aligning with Darroc.  Mac overhears an interesting conversation between Barrons and Ryodan.  Mac and Barrons search Darroc's apartment for any useful information.  Barrons takes Mac to Chester's; she finds out her parents are there and sees dreamy-eyed guy.  Mac learns some information about Isla O'Connor, the woman she recently found out was her and Alina's biological mother.  Mac begins to wonder who and what she is.  The Sinsar Dubh threatens Chester's.  Dani and Mac talk and then go the abbey to get answers about the prophecy.  Everyone at the abbey tries to figure out the prophecy; it is revealed there is a second prophecy, but the page is missing out of the journal.  Mac thinks there is a traitor in the abbey who let out the Sinsar Dubh.  Mac is having disturbing dreams about the king's concubine.  V'lane and Mac spend a day together on the beach and V'lane shares a lot of Seelie secrets with Mac.  She asks about Cruce, one of the Unseelie princes who was killed long ago.  They discuss how to get the Sinsar Dubh locked back up.
