Surprise

What surprised me was the end of The Gate Thief and how it left me wanting more.  It answered a lot of questions but also presented us with lots of others that will need to be answered at a later time.  I don't enjoy a series that waits until a final book to answer all the major questions; I need some information to not feel overwhelmed.
By the way, Absolutely, Positively comes out tomorrow!

   Summary:
Bexoi and Wad's relationship becomes strained and they end of making many threats against each other.  Wad questions more and more who he is, where he came from, and why he feels he needs to do some of the things he does.  He gets one major memory flashback the provides him (and me) with a lot of answers.  Wad reconnects with Anonoei and her sons, and Eko.  Danny explains to the others the events that occurred when he made the Great Gate; they share with him that Ced went to Westil and remained there.  Danny has a run in with his Family that includes lot of threats from both sides.  Danny and his new family agree to research more about the Great Gate and the Gate Thief.
