Olivia is aware of and intrigued by the BDSM lifestyle and her friends who live it. However, Olivia has had only one sexual relationship, which was a complete failure and left her feeling incompetent in the sexual department. Storm has loved and lost and doesn't believe he can open his heart again. Cameron's perception of love and relationships was warped by his dysfunctional parents, so he has no interest in love.
The three of them separately are a mess when it comes to love, but together they may surprise themselves and each other. Storm and Cameron want to help Olivia conquer her insecurities while she just wants to love them and be loved by them.
This book was a hot read! This is only the second book in this series that I have read, but none of the plot was lost due to not reading the whole series. The author does a great job of giving you a quick glimpse at some of the other characters so, even not being familiar with the series, I felt I knew a little about the other people in town. I may not have been as drawn into the story or as invested in the characters as someone who has read the entire series.
That said, the emotions were honest, the struggles were realistic, and the romance was sweet and spicy! The relationship seems somewhat rushed, but the passion was intense and there were extenuating circumstances pushing these three together.
I enjoyed this erotic story and look forward to reading the rest of this series.
