EMERCENCY SERVICING is a great collection of stories about hot medical professionals working to save lives and find love.
In Down to Earth, we get to see how trauma can change someone we thought we knew into a totally different person. When Ryan gets injured in a skydiving accident, he finds the nurse working on his floor in the hospital is much more attentive and understanding than his fianc. The story is very sweet and genuine with the emotions of the characters well written.
Please, Doctor was fun and cute while exploring medical fetishes. Patrick has a thing for men in white coats, so much so he can't seek medical attention when needed. When he is referred to a "special clinic" for his problem, he thinks he is going there for treatment, not to have his fetish desires role-played. Russell usually serves as a medical consultant to the fetish club, but can't resist becoming more hands on when he sees Patrick.
Roley's Wood was a nice story about moving on and finding new love in unexpected places. Jack agrees to go on vacation with his ex-boyfriend, Paul, and Paul's new lover. He quickly realizes the vacation might be a mistake and is making plans to change things up when he gets pulled into the middle of a major police investigation. Jack meets the prosecutor handling the case, Brodie, and sparks fly!
Starting a relationship while working frantically in a busy Guatemalan clinic might not be ideal, but in Love Without Borders, we see it is possible. The strenuous and close conditions are what paramedic Jason and doctor David need to push them together. Steamy and sweet story about falling for someone is less than ideal circumstances.
Doctor, Doctor was one of my favorite stories in this collection. It explores the challenges of being gay in the military and relationships between different ranks. We also get to see the strain being in the closet can put on a relationship and a career. Ryker and Daniel have to figure out if they are prepared to put their relationship before their careers and if their families will be accepting of their choices. Very sweet.
Issues of age and social status are prominent in Trusing the ER Doctor's Heart. Kyle is a stable, successful ER doctor and Trent is the young, sexy paramedic that often delivers patients to him. When the two of them finally act upon their attraction to one another, they then have to deal with jealous ex-boyfriends, insecurities, and very different lifestyles while figuring out if they stand a chance at a relationship.
This was a great collection of short, steamy, and sweet love stories.
