Laying to rest past demons and accepting that your desires are not to be ashamed of is what we see best friends Cyn, Jared, and Chris struggle with in TOGETHER IN CYN.
Cyn has been in love with twins Jared and Chris for as long as she can remember. They have always been there for her as her best friends. Throughout that friendship, Cyn has been keeping a diary and filling it with all her fantasies about the dark and kinky things she would like to do with Jared and Chris. Cyn would never dream of sharing these thoughts with her best friends because she believes her desires are unnatural and her one exploration with BDSM did not end well. What she doesn't know is that the boys have the same kinks and fantasies and when they find her diary, all the rules of their relationship change.
This was a really good story that went beyond where I thought it would go. I did not expect some of the deeper and darker parts of the plot, which really added to my enjoyment. Ms. Kacey's story had some typical elements--not being sure the BDSM lifestyle is "normal", having a crush on a best friend that you don't think is reciprocated, and the crazy hotness that results from exploring fantasies and hidden desires. The elements of the plot that I did not find typical, and which enhanced the story immensely, were the secrets that were being kept and the demons that were quietly being fought by the characters. I enjoyed watching the characters struggle with those inner demons and start to overcome them once they were revealed. The love and support between these three characters was as enjoyable to read about as their passion and lust.
Great story with great characters. I can't wait to read more of the Members Only series.
